Visitors Center wins Bronc Spirit Week decorating contest

Winning the Bronc Spirit Office Decorating Contest during Bronc Spirit Week Oct. 13-17 at The University of Texas-Pan American was the Visitors Center, shown above, with a theme of the "Bucking Bronc Palace." More than 15 offices entered the contest sponsored by the Office of Student Development. The contest was judged by De Ann Craft, Robert Davenport and Craig Pinten, all employees in the UTPA Athletics Office. Other events held during the week were a Bronc Spirit t-shirt sale, car window decorating and a tailgate party and lighting of the UTPA letters during the culminating event - Midnight Madness. Over 1,500 t-shirts were sold during the week designed to promote campus spirit.
