Andrea Longoria, a junior majoring in communication studies at The University of Texas-Pan American, was one of six models at a Career Styles fashion show held in the University Ballroom, September 11. Arranged by the UTPA Office of Career Placement Services, the show featured appropriate business professional and business casual outfits and a panel discussion of proper interview and work attire. The show was moderated by KRGV-TV Channel 5 anchor Letty Valadez Garza. More than 100 attendees were also treated to lunch, won door prizes and were offered free gifts and makeovers from Merle Norman Cosmetics Studio (Uptown Plaza). The event was sponsored by Target, Mervyn's and Stein Mart.
