UTPA students help prepare for "El Río" exhibit

Kighoma Mwizarubi, a graduate student pursuing a Master's in Business Administration at The University of Texas-Pan American, assists in the preparations for the Smithsonian exhibition called "El Río" opening August 6 on the UTPA campus. "El Río," a binational and bilingual traveling exhibition, features interactive displays highlighting the communities and cultural heritage along the Rio Grande River from Colorado to Northern Mexico. The exhibition, held on the third floor of the Science Building at UTPA, will be open free to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday except Wednesday when it will be open to 7 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
