Over the years Texas State Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Texas Regional Banchares, Inc., has been very generous in helping students at The University of Texas-Pan American achieve their higher education goals. This year, Texas Regional Banchares, Inc. awarded Alex Salazar, a junior finance student, a two-year scholarship. Salazar will receive $1,000 each semester, and will also serve as an intern at the main branch of Texas State Bank in McAllen. From left is Paul S. Moxley, Texas State Bank president; Enedelia P.
