UTPA students and community members are invited to study abroad

Students from The University of Texas-Pan American and community members are invited to travel abroad and study while enjoying the sites of Rome, Athens, Paris, Istanbul and Florence.

The UTPA Honors Studies Program and the Center for International Studies has scheduled a trip to Europe July 13 - August 9 where participants will have the opportunity to learn about philosophy or the humanities and get college credit.

Participants will visit some of the most famous sites in Europe in more than four countries including France, Italy, Greece and Turkey.

Teaching the two courses during the trip is UTPA Professors Dr. Kenneth Buckman and Dr. Theresa Norman.

The cost for the trip is $3,500 and includes airfare, hotel, breakfast buffet, tours, transfer fees, and tuition for courses.
