Terrorist Attacks subject of Town Hall Meeting

The University of Texas-Pan American held a Town Hall Meeting for the campus community Wednesday, April 9 at the Student Union Theater. The meeting titled "Terrorist Attack - Is UTPA Ready?" focused on UTPA's preparedness in the event of a terrorist attack. A short presentation was given by Richard Costello, director of the UTPA Environmental Health and Safety Department, outlining the University's preparatory steps. He also discussed the forseeable types of terrorists attacks and advised audience members to prepare themselves at home. The presentation was followed by a question and answer session.
