Campus safety and terrorist attacks topic of forum

In the midst of war, The University of Texas-Pan American is taking precautions and safety measures to keep the campus safe in the possibility of a terrorist attack.

UTPA to hold forum addressing the University's readiness in the event of a terrorist attack.
Students, staff and faculty are invited to attend and participate in a noon forum titled, "Terrorist Attack - Is UTPA Ready?" Wednesday, April 9 at the UTPA Student Union Theater.

The forum will address any questions regarding UTPA's readiness in the event of a terrorist attack.

Panel members expected to participate in the forum include the UTPA Police Department, Student Health Services, Department of Environmental Health and Safety and the Office of University Relations.

The forum will consist of a short presentation followed by a question and answer session for members of the audience to ask the panel questions.
