The University of Texas-Pan American will wrap up Bronc O Days/Homecoming activities Saturday, Feb. 15 with a variety of events, including a basketball game, Block Party and the lighting of the UTPA letters.

Above is the burning of the UTPA letters during Spirit Week in October 2002 - which kicked off the Bronc basketball season.
The United Student Organization Council (USOC) organized the week-long activities - which also includes a Homecoming Court that will be announced during the UTPA Bronc basketball game against the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders at the UTPA Fieldhouse, 7:30 p.m.

More than 1,900 votes were cast for this year's Homecoming court of king, queen, prince, princess, duke and duchess.

Saturday's events will kick off at 4 p.m. with a Bronc Spirit Caravan to the Fieldhouse from the UTPA Annex (located at 2412 S. Closner). Participants in the caravan are asked to decorate their vehicles in green, white and orange.

A Block Party featuring a live band, food and games will run from 5-7 p.m. at the Fieldhouse Lawn. During the Block Party, the UTPA letters will be lit before the start of the Bronc game for the first time.

The public is invited to show their Bronc spirit during Bronc O Days and keep the University tradition alive. For more information on the Bronc O Days activities call 956/381 -2660.
