ExxonMobil recently awarded a $2,000 departmental grant to The University of Texas-Pan American Department of Computer Science and Department of Computer Information Systems (CIS) and Quantitative Methods. The grant will be used for educational purposes such as scholarships, field trips, visiting speakers, and other academic projects. The grants are awarded to schools that offer degrees in fields from which the company recruits employees.
