"Indivisible: Proyecto Azteca" is currently on display at The University of Texas-Pan American Library's main lobby.
"Indivisible: Stories of American Community" is an exploration of community life in America by some of the country's most accomplished photographers, radio producers and folklorists.
Depicted through a collection of photographs is the story of the "Proyecto Azteca," a housing development located in Colonia Jessups, near Monte Alto in the Lower Rio Grande Valley.
This photography collection by Danny Lyon and interviews by Daniel Rothenberg can be found at the Library's Special Collections until Sept. 15. It is a project of the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University in partnership with the Center for Creative Photography and The University of Arizona, and is funded by The Pew Charitable Trusts.
