Community Health Worker committee meets at UTPA

The University of Texas-Pan American recently hosted a meeting by the Community Health Worker Training and Certification Advisory Committee. Also known as "promotores," community health workers (CHWs) have proven effective in linking underserved populations with needed benefits and services, especially in the Rio Grande Valley.
