The Clark and University galleries at The University of Texas-Pan American will host the 32nd annual Student Art Show, May 1 through July 5.
Graphics and photography will be in the Clark Gallery in the Fine Arts Building. All other media will be in the University Gallery in the Communication Arts and Sciences Building.
A reception with the students is Wednesday, May 1 from 7-9 p.m. in both galleries, and refreshments will be provided. Awards will be presented in the Clark Gallery at 7:30 p.m. and the University Gallery at 8:15 p.m. A preview awards ceremony with photographs is at 6:15 p.m. in the University Gallery, 6:45 p.m. in the Clark Gallery.
More than $2,000 in prizes will be awarded to students. Sponsors include First National Bank; Texas State Bank; Charles Clark Chevrolet; Artline America Inc.; UTPA President Dr. Miguel A. Admission is free, and the galleries are open Monday through Friday, except University holidays.
