The University of Texas-Pan American will hold its first Student Leadership Conference, Saturday, April 6.
With a theme of "Exploring the World of Leadership," the conference is designed to provide leadership training to current UTPA members of the Student Leadership Program as well as to high school students who have demonstrated leadership abilities and wish to develop them even more while enrolled in college.
Cost is $10, with seating limited to 225 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Students will have lunch provided and receive a student leader information packet.
Application deadline is Friday, March 22 at 4 p.m. The conference begins at 8 a.m. with registration and breakfast at the Student Union lobby. It concludes at 5:30 p.m. with optional campus tours.
