Walt Disney World is coming to The University of Texas-Pan American to recruit students to work during their 100 Years of Magic Celebration.

All University students are invited to attend a presentation and meet with a Walt Disney World College Program recruiter Thursday, Feb. 28 at 5:30 p.m. in the Engineering Building Auditorium, Room 1.300, and learn more about internship opportunities.

The Walt Disney World College Program provides students with an insider's look and real-world experience. Launched in 1981 with 200 students from 20 colleges and universities, the program now welcomes more than 2,500 students from 350 schools each semester.

Students should meet with their academic advisor for details about receiving credit. In addition to the educational opportunities, students gain real-world experience through a variety of jobs, including those in attractions, merchandise, culinary, food and beverage, hospitality, life-guarding, recreation and transportation.

Students who are interested must attend a presentation hosted by a Walt Disney World College Recruiter to interview for the program. The program is open to all undergraduate students in any major who have completed at least one semester.
