Edinburg- The University of Texas-Pan American welcomes Muhtadia Rice who will present a drama on campus Saturday, October 7th. Ms. Rice adds to her achievements the creation of the highly acclaimed original theatrical music drama, "A Woman And Her Words." She has received rave reviews as a playwright, singer and actress.
Muhtadia Rice and the Rice Management Group also provide specialized consulting in public relations, brokering, and negotiation services. Rice has held different positions in public relations and is an appointed Court Mediator for the Superior Court of California. She also provides mediation services and conflict resolution training to corporate clients such as AT&T. She has provided exclusive sport and entertainment representation and management to American Baseball Hall of Fame Superstar, Ferguson Jenkins. In 1990 she produced a two-hour television program for Namibia Broadcast Corporation featuring interviews with American celebrities Edward James Olmos, Danny Glover, Dizzy Gillespie, Ben Vereen, Prince & The Revolution and others.
Active in many organizations and serving numerous boards, Ms. Rice has a long history with South Africa. She currently works with underprivileged youth in several Black townships.
