Student orientations set for Aug. 21-23

The University of Texas-Pan American Office of Career Placement Services will conduct student orientations Aug. 21-23.

The orientation sessions will provide information on resume development and interview techniques, part-time jobs and internships, job placement after graduation, graduate school programs and more.

Monday's sessions will be at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., followed by Tuesday at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. and Wednesday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sessions will be in the Student Services Bldg., Room 153, and only one session is required.

To sign up, visit the Student Services Bldg., Room 147. Students requiring special accommodations should contact the office at least two days in advance by calling 956/381-2243 or V/TDD at 381-2996.

Career Placement Services offers a variety of free programs and services to assist students and alumni in planning and implementing their careers.
