Telephone and online registration for fall and summer classes at The University of Texas-Pan American is under way.
ASSIST (Advanced Services for Student Information Supported by Technology) registration by appointment will continue through April 30 for Summer I, June 11 for Summer II and July 14 for Fall 1999. Schedules of classes are available at the Office of Admissions and Records in room 108 of the Student Services Building or on the World Wide Web at http://www.panam.edu/schedules.
Before registering, students must have attended mandatory academic advisement and received a Registration Access Code (RAC) from their adviser.
Students may register using a touch-tone phone by calling 956/381-3000, on the Internet at http://www.panam.edu/assist, or by using one of the dedicated computer terminals on the UTPA campus.
Tuition and fee payment for ASSIST registration must be made by May 19 for Summer I, June 30 for Summer II and July 28 for the fall. All payments must be received by 4:30 p.m. on the appointed dates.
Final (late) registration will take place by appointment in the UTPA Fieldhouse May 28 for Summer I, July 7 for Summer II and Aug. 25-26 for the fall semester; there is a $25 late registration fee and payment of tuition and fees is required at registration. Students who have registered using the ASSIST registration system may make schedule changes during final registration.
Classes begin June 1 for Summer I, July 9 for Summer II and Aug. 30 for Fall 1999.
Students may make schedule changes in the University Ballroom June 1-2 for Summer I, July 9 -12 for Summer II and Aug. 30 to Sept. 3 for the fall.
