University departments with small purchase order or procurement card authority have the following responsibilities in regards to the University’s HUB Program’s good faith effort goals:

·        Make a good faith effort in increasing purchases from HUB firms through small purchase orders or procurement card purchases.

·        Access the Texas Building & Procurement Commission’s (TBPC) HUB Directory for a listing of HUBs capable of supplying needed goods and services. 

·        Contact the HUB Coordinator for any assistance in locating HUBs capable of supplying needed goods or services. 

·        Attend HUB forums.

·        Refer non-certified HUBs to HUB Coordinator for assistance with certification process.

·         Promote HUB utilization in departmental purchases.
