University departments with small
purchase order or procurement card authority have the following
responsibilities in regards to the University’s HUB Program’s good faith
effort goals:
·Make a good faith effort
in increasing purchases from HUB firms through small purchase orders or
procurement card purchases.
·Access the Texas Building
& Procurement Commission’s (TBPC) HUB Directory for a listing of HUBs
capable of supplying needed goods and services.
·Contact the HUB
Coordinator for any assistance in locating HUBs capable of supplying
needed goods or services.
·Attend HUB forums.
·Refer non-certified HUBs
to HUB Coordinator for assistance with certification process.
·Promote HUB utilization in
departmental purchases.
