Question: What is the Internet Services
department?
Answer: The Internet Services department is a group
of Web producers who assist with the technical design, production,
programming, and maintenance
of Web applications and sites for The University of Texas-Pan American. Presently
the Team maintains the majority of UTPA web pages, while assisting
with development and maintenance of many more.
Question: What other services
besides web sites does Internet Services provide?
Answer: In addition to creating and updating web sites,
the Internet Services department can answer questions regarding
web development.
Question: How can my department
get a web site?
Answer: Your department can get a web site by visiting
our web site request section.
Question: Can you update my department's
web site?
Answer: Yes. We can update your department's web site,
but you must first visit our web site request section.
Question: What current projects
is Internet Services involved in?
Answer: Internet Services is currently involved in updating
and creating university web sites. In addition to that the web
team is mainly focused in the design and development of Oracle
portal web sites.
