Service Administration

The Service Administration area is responsible for coordinating a variety of administrative activities in the areas of:

• Validation of activities in Oracle HRMS

• Integral part of testing and stabilizing the Oracle modules

• Review of access requests to Oracle HRMS

• Authorization of access requests to SGELIG/IFIS system

• Review of Oracle element setups in collaboration with HRIS team

• Department requests for personnel data for labels and reports

• Audit of Benefits Insurance Accounts

• Review and audit of financial accounts

• Processing of Wage Garnishments

• Set up of Savings Bonds

• Administering Employee Exit Interviews

• Coordination of Faculty Spread in accordance with new Internal Revenue Service ruling

This area is also responsible for developing and validating all employee record data for reporting to various agencies including the following:

• Texas Coordinating Board

• TRAQS - TRS Reporting and Query System for state service data

• Social Security Administration

• HRIS - Human Resource Information System to Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts

• State of Texas Legislative Budget Board and Legislative Appropriations Requests
