How can I set up my computer?

Open the Network Connections window through the Control Panel. Click on the Wireless Networks tab.If the faculty-staff network is already displayed in the Preferred Networks, select it and click the Properties button. Otherwise, click the Add button.

Fill out the pop-up box as shown. Association tab:: Network Name (SSID): faculty-staff, Network Authentication: WPA, Data Encryption: TKIP, "Ad-Hoc Network" box unchecked.

Authentication tab:: "Enable IEEE 802.1x authentication" box checked, EAP type: Protected EAP (PEAP), "Authenticate computer" and "Authenticate as guest" boxes unchecked.

Click the Properties button:: Uncheck all boxes. Click the Configure button for Secure Password: "Automatically use my Windows logon" box unchecked.
