My name is Noel Espericueta Jr. I am known as “Noelito” to my family and close friends. I’m the youngest child in my family of four. I was born to Noel and Ester Espericueta on June 28, 1994. I have three older sisters named Christina, Christen and Christal. I take great pride in my family. Spending time together is a big part of who I am. My family has always been there for me. We do many things together like traveling, camping, fishing, hunting and just hanging out. Since the age of four years old I started playing city league sports. This was family affair at my house. My dad would coach my various teams and my mom and sisters always cheered me on. I played soccer, baseball and basketball. This continued until my junior high years when I decided to focus on basketball. I then played basketball and lettered all four years for the Edinburg High School Bobcats. My senior year I was named Offensive Player of the Year, First Team All Valley, All City MVP and Best Rebounder while leading the Edinburg Bobcats to district championship and regional quarterfinals as a senior. I graduated from EHS in 2012.
Currently I am a freshman at UTPA majoring in Criminal Justice and a proud member of the Broncs Basketball team. During my time off, I help my dad at his business, Auto Tech Center and take care of my four goats. I attend El Buen Pastor Methodist Church. I hope to serve my community as a Game Warden someday. I strongly believe that staying active both spiritually and physically is very important.
