Personal

bulletBorn in Urbana, Illinois, to a military family.  Lived throughout the country and settled in San Antonio in 1955.
bulletMarried to Pearl Brazier, an Associate Professor in UTPA's Department of Computer Science.
bulletTwo children:  Michael Brazier, a UTPA mathematics graduate who has also completed an MS in computer science from the university and is now working for Microsoft in Redmond, Washington, and Jennifer Turner, a Trinity University psychology graduate who has also completed an MBA in marketing research from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Jenny and her husband, Jon, moved to San Antonio, Texas, in 2008.  Jon, a Ph.D. in industrial psychology, works in human resources for USAA while Jenny also works for USAA, in marketing research.
bulletTwo grandchildren:  Avery Lauren Turner, born on September 26, 2003, in Madison, Wisconsin, and Grant Thomas Turner, born on July 26, 2006 in Austin, Texas.
