Student Financial Services and Scholarships

The UTPA Office of Student Financial Services is committed to helping current and prospective students and their families to obtain a quality education at UTPA by alleviating or eliminating financial barriers which could otherwise discourage or prohibit qualifying students to pursue a higher education.

At UTPA, approximately 70 percent of students receive some form of financial aid and so we understand how difficult it can be to finance a college education and the challenges it presents for most families. Therefore, our goal is to educate and assist students in obtaining and understanding all financial aid resources available to them.

Further, we are also dedicated to providing high quality customer service in a professional, caring, and equitable manner and continue to administer all financial aid programs in compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations and guidelines.
