Laptop Checkout

Description

Students will be able to check-out laptops at the IT Service Desk with a valid picture ID.

Functionality

Students will be able to borrow laptops to work on school projects. Another benefit is that students will still be able to work on their projects using the laptops even if the computer labs are full/busy.

Hours of Availability

Monday through Friday

Requests

Request can be made uppon arrival at the IT Service Desk

Q: What services are provided at the IT Service Desk and are there any fees for these services?
A:
Account Maintenance(Multiple usernames,locked,expired,resets,etc.),Equipment drop-off, laptop check out, guest account, wireless assistance, ethernet cable distribution. All service provided at the IT Service Desk are free of charge if you are a current UTPA student, staff, or faculty.
