Staff and Faculty may drop off equipment in need of service. If they have already called ext. 2020 to request assistance, they may provide us with the incident # that was assigned to them or they can come to the Service Desk with their equipment and our technical staff will create an Altiris Incident and provide them with the Incident number.
Instead of having to wait for a technician to pick up the machine in need of service, the drop off service lessens wait time and our staff is able to provide technical service at a faster rate.
