Network Wiring

Description

The network wiring crew provides installation, termination, and certification of Ethernet cable, coaxial cable, and fiber optic cable from the communication rooms to the wall plate.

Functionality

Troubleshooting and repair of cabling. Assist in the design of cabling plants. Provide cable specifications. Removal of abandoned cable. Upgrade cabling as needed.

Hours of Availability

Service is available during normal University business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm from Monday – Friday.

Charge

Labor is provided free of charge. On occasion, depending on job and budget, requestor will have to provide cabling and other materials.
