Stolen Wireless Device Notification Alert


The UTPA wireless network identifies wireless devices by their physical, manufacturer assigned, MAC addresses. Based on these, alerts can be configured within the wireless system to alert UTPA PD of stolen wireless devices that show back up on the campus wireless network after being reported lost/stolen.


The service provides the benefit of finding and in some cases returning lost/stolen property to its rightful owner(s).

Hours of Availability

Service is available during normal University business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm from Monday – Friday.


This service can be requested by logging into myUTPA and clicking on the ServiceNow icon. The ServiceNow self-service page can be used to submit and track the status of all requests.​
