Provides rapid-response technical support upon request and maintains the audio-visual equipment in all classrooms, conference rooms and various meeting spaces on the UTPA campus.
Modern and reliable media presentation equipment designed for ease-of-use is available in all classrooms and lecture halls on the UTPA campus. It is the responsibility of the Classroom Technology and Multimedia Support unit to monitor and maintain all classroom presentation systems so that they are always operating at optimal levels. In addition to keeping all systems functioning properly, the department also assists customers with special requests such as modifying computer and display settings and loading specialized software on classroom computers.
Service is available from 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 7:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Friday during regular semesters and from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. (Mon-Fri) during semester breaks. Service can be made available on weekends for special events on a requested basis with adequate lead time.
