The IT Faculty Consultation Council (ITFCC), established in 2005, is a direct line of communication between the Faculty and Information Technology leadership. Presided over by the Chief Information Officer, ITFCC members represent every School and College and the Library. The Chair of the Faculty Senate is also a member. The Council meets with the CIO at least once a semester. Topics include new IT initiatives, service updates, and technology's impact on teaching and research. Each meeting has a period where members are invited to share their concerns and wishes. IT Faculty Consultation Council members are expected to convey news and information from Council meetings to their colleagues and Deans.
Members are appointed by the CIO every Summer. Term of membership is one academic year.
