How to Qualify

To qualify for the program, student applicants must:

• Apply during their senior year in high school
• Demonstrate leadership ability
• Meet the qualification criteria for admission for enrollment at UTPA
• Have a B or better average in their high school college-track curriculum
• Submit a completed application by the deadline date

Selections will be made on the following criteria:

• Leadership experience in high school and/or in the community
• Recommendation forms
• School and community activities
• Personal interviews
