Communities in Schools (CIS), is a non-profit stay-in-school – Drop-out prevention program.  We are in 6 school districts (McAllen, Edinburg, Mercedes, Edcouch-Elsa, La Joya, and Valley View).  We provide tutoring, counseling, and refer our students and parents to outside agencies for their needs.  The population that we work with are the at-risk students in these school districts.
