Curriculum:

The minor in Geographical Information Systems requires eighteen (18) hours.

ASTR 1401 - Introduction to Astronomy I (4 hours) and ASTR 1402 - Intro to Astronomy II (4 hours)
or GEOL 1401 - Physical Geology (4 hours) and GEOL 1402 - Historical Geology (4 hours)
or PHYS 1401 - General Physics I (4 hours) and PHYS 1402 - General Physics II (4 hours)
or PHYS 2401 - Physics for Scientists & Engineers I (4 hours) and PHYS 2402 - Physics for Scientists & Engineers II (4 hours) 
or PSCI 1421 - Physical Science I (4 hours) and PSCI 1422 - Physical Science II (4 hours)
 
Advanced Required Geology Courses (6 hours):
Additional Advanced Required Course (Choose one, 4 hours):
*Note: The selected course sequence will satisfy the minor in Geographic Information Systems. The Natural Science core requirements may be satisfied using an additional course sequence.

**Note: For BIOL 4403 - Introduction to Remote Sensing Technology, check with the Department of Biology for the course offering schedule.
