Ms. Saywell holds a Bachelor of
Arts in Keyboard Studies degree from Murray State University in
Kentucky and a Master's Degree in Collaborative Piano from the
University of Wisconsin – Madison. She is currently finishing her
doctoral studies in collaborative piano at the UW under the
direction of Professor Martha Fischer.
Performance experience includes various high school and collegiate
choirs, numerous choral festivals, instrumental ensembles, musicals,
regional and national music conferences, and hundreds of student,
guest artist, and faculty recitals. Her ongoing performance
endeavors have led her all across the United States and parts of
Europe.
Ms. Saywell's honors include being chosen for a United National
Leadership and Service Award, winner of the Murray State University
Contemporary Keyboard Competition, the Music Teachers National
Association Conference Competition, the Paducah Symphony Orchestra
Concerto Competition, and most recently the Irving Shain Woodwind
and Piano Duo Competition.
