The portfolio is a collection of student works that spans the entirety of the student’s progress through the academic program. The portfolio gives us a portrait of how the student has progressed and improved over the course of the program. The portfolio for the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures consists of the following samples of work:

 CERTIFICATION:

               1. 2 Exams from SPAN 3330 or SPAN 4336

               2. 1 Exam from SPAN 3306 or SPAN 4306

               3. 1 Term paper from 4000 level linguistics course

               4. 2 Exams from SPAN 3301, 3302, 3310, or 3311

               5. 1 Term paper from 4000 level literature course  

               6. 1 Exam from SPAN 4316

* Seniors need to turn in portfolio at the end of the semester prior to graduation.

NON-CERTIFICATION:
