The Office of International Programs congratulates Martha Davila, UTPA marketing major and recent recipient of the Gilman International Scholarship. Out of 1369 applicants, Davila was one of only 400 students to receive the award. She was awarded $4,500.00 toward her six-month study abroad program in Salamanca, Spain. The Gilman Scholarship will enable Davila to use her own money to travel more extensively and to experience greater cultural diversity.
