Exchange Students

In the course of the partnership between The University of Texas-Pan American and the University of Luneburg, Germany, a group of German students visited UTPA for one week in February / March.

According to Christoph Scheuermann, coordinator for the short-term program, the group was hosted by the Office of International Programs and the College of Business Administration. He said the program was comprised of selected classes, company visits and a trip to South Padre Island. “The idea is to show the visitors from Germany the best of the Rio Grande Valley and The University of Texas-Pan American,” Scheuermann said. As a counterpart of this program, Scheuermann said the University of Luneburg hosts a group of UTPA students for two weeks every year in May.
