ACADEMIC COMMITTEES ON INTERNATIONAL AND LATIN AMERICAN STUDIES

  • Composed of UTPA faculty from various disciplines, departments and colleges; volunteer or nominated by current members and formally appointed by the provost and president
  • Advise and assist in the planning of programs and activities related to International Studies and Latin American Studies.

EXTERNAL ADVISORY COUNCIL

  • Composed of community members from and around the Rio Grande Valley; advise and assist in networking and help raise funds for scholarships for Study Abroad and Exchange/Visiting Programs
