Academic Advisory Committee on International Programs
It is composed of UTPA faculty from various disciplines, departments and colleges; volunteer or nominated by current members and formally appointed by the provost and university president.
To provide advice to the Office of International Programs on the policies that would help departments and colleges in fostering international education programs in teaching, research and publications
To help organize international activities that would bring on campus distinguished academics, political, business and religious leaders
To help promote UTPA programs overseas and to establish and nature collaborative relationships with international academic institutions
External Advisory Council for International Programs
Composed of community members from and around the Rio Grande Valley; advise and assist in networking and help raise funds for scholarships for the Study Abroad and Exchange/Visiting Programs.
