The Office of International Programs (OIP) at The University of Texas-Pan American (UTPA) welcomes students from our partner and affiliated universities to study for a short or long term semester. The University of Texas-Pan American is located in Edinburg, Texas. We are located just 30 minutes away from the Mexican border and an hour and a half away from the beautiful and sunny South Padre Island, Texas.
We have programs such as our interdisciplinary and customized/ special certificate programs available for students. OIP also invites Faculty from our partner and affiliated universities to participate as a Visiting Scholar/Researcher during a short or long term semester.
The Office of International Programs (OIP) also offers programs to UTPA faculty who would like to teach at any of our partner or affiliated universities for a short or long term semester. A different program that we also have available to Faculty is the Fulbright Program.
