The Office of International Programs is pleased to announce Earth Matters: International Art Exhibit 2007! This juried art competition is open to all artists working in any 2D medium regarding the interpretation of “Earth Matters.” Accepted works will be exhibited at the University Gallery on campus. Three works will be awarded for excellence: The Distinguished Jury Award, The UTPA Choice Award, and The Viewers’ Choice Award. Awarded works will become part of The University of Texas-Pan American’s Permanent Collection. All three works awarded will receive $500 each. An online catalogue illustrating all the exhibited work and artist statements will be published on our website.
