Empowerment Zone Substance Abuse Services (EZSAS)
The Empowerment Zone Substance Abuse Services (EZSAS) has been established to meet the needs of students within The University of Texas-Pan American community. The program is committed to providing an environment for education, exploration, and personal growth.
- Through its licensed staff a diversity of services are provided these include:
- Education/information -- presentations to groups/classes/organizations
- Prevention awareness activities
- Screening and assessment
- Intervention
- Individual & group counseling and support services
- Assistance for family referrals
- EZSAS maintains a library of published material related to key topics these include:
- Diversity
- Women's Resource library
- Substance abuse related materials
