UT Civic & Service Participation Program-How to Register Your Hours
-
Visit UT Civic & Service website (Volunteer website) or find our link on UTPA’s homepage under “Announcements and Information.”
-
Once on the UT Civic & Service Participation Program homepage, click on the link “Record Your Volunteer Hours” (on the right-hand side of the page).
-
This will take you to the log in page where you can either log in or create a new account.
-
If you’ve already created an account there is a ‘login here’ link at the end of the first paragraph.
-
If you need to create an account, type in the necessary information required. We recommend that you provide your name and email address so we may contact you when you’ve qualified for a medal. Once you’ve completed the information, click on “Create My Record of Service.”
-
-
You are now logged in and ready to record your hours! The tabs will help you navigate through the site:
-
Home-takes you to the welcome screen. Here you are able to learn about the awards (Find out more about the Awards!), update your profile (Keep us up to date!), or ask questions (Questions?). You can also find your campus contact information.

My Service-Review all your service hours and record any new hours you’ve served.
-
To create a new record-Click on the red box to ‘Create New Record.’ This will ask you to input all the information about the service work you did. Once all is completed, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Add this Activity.” This will take you back to your service record page. You should be able to see your new service record listed in your Individual Activities. You can also edit or delete your records.
-
Group Activities-Group activities, whether through the CSC or through your student organization, will be added by UTPA. If your student organization has not created a group through us, your hours will not be able to be compiled.
-
Note: Student organization officers are the only members allowed to create a group. S.O. officers will be responsible for sending the CSC the information about the organization’s service projects, members that attended, and hours served by each member. Project lists can be compiled monthly or can be turned in after each project.
-
My Awards-You will find the hours you’ve served by year and how many hours away you are from receiving a medal.
-
Groups-If your student organization or other groups have not added you as a member, request their Group Code XXX-XXXX either directly or through the CSC. Input this code in the box provided and click on “Join Group.” Once you’ve joined the group, you will see it listed on the page. You can leave the group at any time.
-
Resources-Find out more about the President’s Volunteer Service Awards and the required hours for each medal.
-
Profile-This is your profile. Feel free to update the information at any time, including changing your password. Again, please make sure you provide us your name and email for awarding purposes only. UTPA will not send you any information unless you request to do so.
