BRONCS SLATE SECOND SESSION OF BASEBALL CAMP

EDINBURG, TX-Reservations are now being taken for the second session of the 2003 Bronc Baseball Camp, which is scheduled to be held next week at the Edinburg Baseball Stadium.

The camp will take place from Tuesday, July 22nd through Thursday, July 24th. Camp begins at 9 a.m. each day and ends at 12 noon. Registration will take place at 8:15 next Tuesday morning at the Edinburg Baseball Stadium.

Campers should supply their own bats, gloves and caps.

The camp is open to boys and girls between the ages of seven and 18. The camp fee is $75 per camper, and a team discount is available. If six or more players from a team sign up, they will each receive a discount of $15 per player. Any camper bringing a friend who did not participate in the camp's first session in June will receive a $10 discount. Head Coach Willie Gawlik and Assistant Coaches Johnny Johnson and Kiki Trevino of The University of Texas-Pan American's baseball team will be among the instructors at the camp.

"It's going to be a fundamental baseball camp, which will include instruction in pitching, hitting and fielding," said Gawlik. "This will give people an opportunity to come and improve their baseball skills."
