"Zach has great potential as a hitter," said UTPA Head Coach Willie Gawlik. "He is a hard worker, is very dedicated, and I see him being able to help us on the mound, at first base, or as the designated hitter. Zach has the potential to be able to hit in the middle of the lineup, and hit consistently. He has the capability of becoming a good college hitter, and we are looking forward to him being here next year."
