COMMUNITY SERVICE

30 total community service hours, 10 per semester, must be completed in one or in a combination of the following community service programs.

 

 Payment cannot be received for any services provided.

 

Note that the completion of the Service Learning Project is a required benchmark by the end of Block III that must be met prior to entering Block IV.

FILL THE BACKPACK

We will be selling Ramos BBQ Tickets to raise money to provide school supplies for schools in which there is inadequate resources to buy supplies.  You will earn 5 community service hours for this project.

You will have an additional opportunity to earn hours gathering and delivering the school supplies.  These will be clock hours.  The date for filling and delivering the school supplies will be announced later in the semester.

The tickets will be given out at our first meeting on June 10, 2009.

MONEY FROM TICKET SALES IS DUE NO LATER THAN JUNE 26, 2009!  YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE MONEY TURNED IN ON TIME TO RECEIVE CREDIT FOR YOUR HOURS!
