Q: Where do I find information on how to
join KDP Lambda Psi?
A: See the Inductee Tasks link for information on getting nominated, a
brief orientation, and the commitments you need to make.
Q: How do I know when we are meeting?
A: See the Calendar link. You also receive an email reminder,
usually a few days before the meeting. Make sure the secretary,
Leticia De Leon (Ldeleonz1@utpa.edu),
has your correct email if you don't receive these reminders.
Q: Whom do I contact if I have questions on membership?
A: The counselor, Dr. Veronica Estrada at
vlestradaa@utpa.edu or the
president, Celine Valadez at
cvjdjjj@aol.com.
Q: How do I get involved in community and fundraising events?
A: Sign in sheets and information is usually given during the
meeting prior to the event. You can also contact committee chairs if you
miss the opportunity (see Contact page).
Q: How do I get updated if I missed a meeting?
A: Check the News link, which is updated a couple of days after
a meeting.
Q: How do I know if I will be inducted?
A: Induction occurs in the Spring. You need to fill out
the Commitment Form (see Inductee Tasks) to document your participation
throughout the Fall and Spring.
Q: How do I find out about scholarships and grants, and
whether I qualify for them.
A: See the Links page for what's available. Typically,
only members qualify for scholarships and grants. You would need
to be inducted first in order to be able to apply.
