been accepted for presentation at the annual conference of the National
Communication Association (NCA) in San Diego, CA, Nov. 21-24, 2008.
"Courtroom Questioning as a Culturally Situated Persuasive Genre of
Talk" was included as a book chapter in "Making Sense of Language:
Readings in Culture and Communication" (ch. 45) (Ed. S. Blum. Published by Oxford University Publications, Oct.2008) (with a co-author), "Culture and communication: Ethnographic research
theory and methods" was included as a book chapter in "Readings in media
education" (Ed. Fan H., published by Qing Hua University Press in Beijing in July 2008) (in Chinese).
