The purpose of an Ally Training is to increase awareness and understanding of the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) issues and to train allies to stand with, and advocate for people who identify themselves within the LGBT spectrum.

The benefits of being an Ally is:

1.       A better  understanding of the issues that LGBT folk face;
2.       Know of solutions to better aid the person that is facing the issue; 3.       Help the person come to a better understanding of themselves.
