Don’t wait until the last minute!
If you are currently planning to acquire a job on campus, you will need to visit the Office of Career Services to complete a criminal background check form and resume review. To view any available on campus or off campus jobs, you can log into Bronc Career Connection at my.utpa.edu and click on the Bronc Career Connection icon, .
Keep in mind that in order to have an active account and to view available on campus and off campus jobs, you will need to upload a resume to your BCC account, complete a criminal background check form, and complete a resume review by setting up an appointment at the Office of Career Services.
An orientation is mandatory for all students seeking employment. If you have been awarded Work-Study, please go to https://finaid.utpa.edu/wsorientation to complete the orientation process (you must have accepted your award). If you are not awarded Work-Study, please sign into BCC and view the Direct Wage presentation under the resource library. After you view the presentation, you may go to https://finaid.utpa.edu/careerserviceorientation to complete the orientation quiz.
